Hello Generous world.

Today was an utterly divine day. It was sunny outside, birds were chirping, plants were growing and kids were laughing as they pushed each other into bushes. I on the other hand had a huge brainstorming session as I stared at my sparkling screen of electrodes microscopically dancing in front of my eyes. Two ideas came to me loud and clear. #1: From now on I commit to writing at least a few entries per week (God, Mohammad, Buddha, Allah etc… (Basically all the big guys up above) Willing). #2: I love adventures and I feel that I should be paid for my writing in order to fund my glorious adventures so that I can write great entries in my blog about them! I have a dual pronged approach to capturing currency through my blog and thus making my dreams of adventure come true. Pronged approach A: capture currency via advertising on the left side of my site. aka Please click on the links and check out what the good people have to offer. Pronged approach B: earn fuel for my dreams through your fantastically compassionate, fun loving, good hearted, beautiful, wondrous and generous soul. Now if your soul positively does not even have .0923834 of a penny to spare then I will accept donations from your friends. No hard feelings, we all go through difficult times in our lives. I will still think that your soul is wondrous and all that other positive stuff! This can be done via the button that says “Donate” on the left hand side of the page. If your still with me I send you a hard core interweb high five! Now, if you are not yet convinced why you should donate to my glorious adventure fund then read on.

Reasons:

1) Because when I receive money for adventures it puts a gigantic smile on my face that lasts the entire day! Then when other people see my smile, they smile too. Pretty soon all of Canada is smiling and then it works its way down to the U.S., from the border guards to the honey farmers. And with our interconnected world of big steel birds and such, the smiles eventually spread across the entirety of this fascinating planet. All because of you!

2) Because it will make you fell really good! I frequently donate to charities with my hard earned money, and being able to help your fellow human is one of the best feelings out there. However, the feeling from donating to an adventure fund is pure nirvana! Try it and see for yourself.

3) I am planning on visiting India in the summer of 2009 and I need some ‘make my dream come true currency’ to make it a reality. I will be going back to school in September and in my free time I can either write my blog, or I can participate in some nominal action that does not feed my soul or intellect for the sole purpose of producing currency. Essentially, because I love to write about my adventures, and your donations will keep this passion alive!

4) Can you imagine how your life would be different today if someone sponsored you to help make your dreams a reality when you were younger? Or maybe someone did sponsor you and you know the importance of it. Or maybe you are my age and you need a good solid place to begin a life of philanthropy. No matter what, supporting others is one of the noblest things we can do.

5) Because I am a good kid. I ride a unicycle, eat lots of blueberries, rock climb and I am very responsible as demonstrated by my meowing, shedding and living cat who is my responsibility.

6) Because I think you are awesome!

7) Because journalists and authors are paid for their time and effort and I believe that quality blogers (i.e. me + anonymous others) should be too
8) To be able to tell your friends that you are supporting adventure.

9) Because I am very financially disciplined. Your money will be put towards some excellent adventures with substantial learning opportunities! I have a series of jars with different headings (give, education, invest, travel, necessities) where I divide my money. I have a financial plan in place that I follow religiously!

10) Lastly, where would we be today if scholarships, bursaries and grants were not given? Think of how many extremely talented individuals would not have seen their ideas flourish if it were not for the generosity of others. This is no different.

10.1) No administration fees!

To donate, click the button that says “Donate” in the left hand navigation.

If you have any further ideas as to why I deserve donations please post them in the comments. I will edit this post to include them!

Lastly, all donations are handled through paypal. They are an extremely reputable company who can be trusted with your financial information. They accept payment from all major credit cards and from your bank account.

In gratitude,
Zachary
